Launching Clean Cooking in Zambia – Strong partnerships are essential to turning shared ambitions into real-world impact.
The opening of Zambia’s first LPG micro-filling station in Lusaka reflects the power of collaboration between Afrox, Linde KSA and Forward7 Middle East Green Initiative.
This initiative demonstrates how cross-regional collaboration – connecting the Middle East and Africa – can translate policy dialogue and strategic alignment into tangible infrastructure and community impact, in cooperation with the Government of Zambia.
Beyond the infrastructure from Linde, the project supports households in transitioning to safer and cleaner cooking solutions.
As part of the initial rollout, Linde will donate the first 200 Handigas LPG cylinders, with a planned expansion to 2,000 units nationwide.
By combining regional leadership, international partnerships and local ex*****on, this initiative highlights how collaboration across borders can help improve health, safety and access to cleaner energy solutions.
