About Us
Formerly known as General Build Solutions, GBS Construction was established in 2013. Our vision then was to concentrate on alterations, renovations and built-in cupboards in the Nothern Suburbs of Cape Town. And also to make a decent living. As time went by and our visions got bigger and better we set our sights on new houses and also expanding our operating areas to Malmesbury, Swartland. With my father, Christo Tolken, having build numerous houses for his previous employer, we constructed our first house in 2017.
Our "just making a living" attitude grew into a passion which I myself could not have dreamed would be so big. Bettering ourselves and the company each and every day is but one of our top focuses.
Our aim is to build our clients their dream homes that suit their needs and especially their budget and to make the building experience a stress free one.The construction world can be harsh to anyone, client and contractor and so we believe in the highest level of honesty. We also assist our clients with all the necessary paperwork like NHBRC submission, council, etc.
