FAZ OFFICIALLY UNPACKS DIVISION ONE LEAGUE DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE HEARING VERDICTS

FAZ OFFICIALLY SETTLES ALL THE TWELVE DIVISION ONE LEAGUE CASES... Bili TPT Lundazi United Football Club goes top of the League standings after winning all their three appealed cases.
Following the disciplinary committee hearing held on 2nd April 2026, Petauke United football club has been fined K2,000 for fielding-in Chrispine Mwanza in a week-24 League game against Bili TPT Lundazi United FC, while Mwanza has been handed a six match ban.
“During this suspension; the
documents should be normalised failure to which the player will remain ineligible to play,”
Bili TPT Lundazi United FC has been awarded three points accompanied with a three-nil scoreline.
In an appealed week-22 count, Katete Rangers have forfeited three points and three goals to Bili TPT Lundazi United after they were found guilty of fielding-in Lenox Chikomba with double registration having been registered under Chipata united. The Disciplinary committee further explained that Sydney Kiluya, Gibson Mbewe & Azalya Nkhoma who were cited by Bili TPT Lundazi United in a petition have valid registrations for the period 2025/2026 season, and Derrick Tembo who was incorrectly entered on the team sheet but has a valid registration under FAZ number 127952m98.
Chikomba has been suspended for six months while the club Katete Rangers who have been fined K2,000, have been urged to normalise the registration of the said player.
The committee dismissed Young Nkwazi's week-18 appeal case against Eastern Eagles football where they alleged Brian Sakala was ineligible to play, stating that the said player was eligible and the outcome of the contest is upheld.
Young Nkwazi football club has been awarded three points accompanied with a nil scoreline after Nyimba United were found guilty of fielding-in a player with double registration during the week-20 League game. The said player Mainza Chitanda has been handed a six match ban, while his registration credentials should be normalised, failure to which, he remains ineligible to play.
The FAZ disciplinary committee has further fined Nyimba United FC a sum of K2,000.
Mambwe Council FC has forfeited three points accompanied with a three nil scoreline to Mika FC upon being found guilty of fielding-in Benson Tembo who had different FAZ numbers bearing two clubs (Benson Tembo FAZ ID number: 102154M07–Mambwe Council FC), (Benson Tembo FAZ ID number: 081045M02–South Luangwa) during a week-16 League encounter, while the club has been fined K2,000 and the player in question has been handed a six match ban which will enable his registration credentials to be normalised.
Mimbulu Soccer Academy has been charged K5,000 for hooligan acts during a week-29 League match against local rivals South Luangwa Football club.
“The disciplinary committee adjudicated
on the petition against Mimbulu Soccer Academy by South Luangwa Football Club over an alleged act of hooliganism,”
“The committee ruled after thoroughly investigations and precise information from the referee's report that; Mimbulu Soccer Academy has been found guilty of hooliganism & receives a fine of K5000,” Reads an excerpt from the DC's ruling.
Due to insufficient evidence of alleged bad officiating & lack of security in a petition filed by Eastern eagles FC against South Luangwa during a week-28 match played at domondo ground on 11th April 2026, the Disciplinary Committee dismissed the appeal and upheld the outcome of the contest.
Imena Golden Stars has been awarded three points accompanied with a three nil scoreline following Petauke United's inability to arrive on time and fulfill the week-31 contest on 25th April 2026.
“Petauke United Football Club delayed travelling for the match & caused
the game not to be played. In this case, Petauke United Football Club
forfeits three points and three goals to Imena Golden Stars,” Ruled the DC
South Luangwa FC has been awarded three points accompanied with a three nil scoreline following Mambwe Council's use of Boyd Kaluba in a week-18 League game bearing FAZ number 045152m98 under South and sits on a new registration number 121943m07 under Mambwe Council as Boyd Kasonde.
The committee handed the said player a six match ban under which his documents should be normalised, failure to which he remains ineligible while Mambwe Council FC has been fined a sum of K2,000.
Real Mpezeni FC have been awarded three points accompanied with a three nil scoreline over South Luangwa's fans act of causing an abandonment during a week-32 League game played on 2nd May 2026 at domondo ground, while the home team-South Luangwa FC has been fined K2,000 in line with article 67 of the FAZ's disciplinary code of conduct.
Chadiza United FC has been fined K2,000 for fielding-in Martine Mwanza, Jackson Mubanga and Morgan Mvula who were not eligible to play against Bili TPT Lundazi United in a week-18 League contest against Bili TPT Lundazi United, while Chadiza United's 2-1 victory has been forfeited in favor of Bili TPT Lundazi United with a three nil scoreline accompanied with goals.
The three mentioned Chadiza United players have been handed a six match ban, a period which the Disciplinary committee guided that their registration documents be normalised, failure to which, they will remain ineligible.
The two cases involving the same player from Ngiyelo Worriers protested by both Eastern eagles and Real Mpezeni have been escalated to national Registrar's office for further investigation in the status of the player Vanny Banda FAZ No. 115892M07.
