*TEMPORARY WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION*

Kindly note that there will be maintenance works at the Zambezi Raw Water Intake tomorrow, 2nd September 2026.

To facilitate these urgent repairs, we shall temporarily shut down the water supply at 08:00hrs.

Customers are advised to store enough water to last through the interruption period.

*Affected Areas:*
- _Most parts of Livingstone_

We expect to resume normal water supply once the repairs are completed.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our services.

*WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION DUE TO MAINTENANCE WORKS AT NAKAMBALA SUGAR*

Southern Water and Sanitation Company Limited (SWSC) wishes to inform our valued customers that *Nakambala Sugar*, our bulk water supplier, is currently carrying out essential maintenance works at their plant.

As a result, we will experience reduced hours of water supply and low pressure during this period.

*Affected Areas:*
Riverview/Chilala, Highlanders, Hillside & Ext, Eastvilla, Plan 200, Kaonga Ext, Namulonga, Mulonga & Ext, Nakambala, Kasakula and Ndeke Ext.

The maintenance works are expected to take some days to complete.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Kindly store adequate water and use it sparingly.

*NOTICE OF WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION DUE TO MULTIPLE PIPE BURSTS - CHOMA TOWN*

Southern Water and Sanitation Company Limited (SWSC) wishes to inform our valued customers in Choma Town of multiple pipe bursts that have occurred.

*The following are the locations of Pipe Bursts:*
1. 2 pipe bursts along Munzuma Road
2. 1 pipe burst along New PEP, Town Area
3. 1 pipe burst along Livingstone Road, by the Museum
4. 1 pipe burst by the New Apostolic Church in Shampande.

The following are the affected areas ;
Shampande, Town Area, Riverside,Macha road,Part of Mochipapa,Mukasa and Showgrounds.

Our technical teams are already on site and working urgently to repair the affected pipelines. We anticipate restoration of normal water supply once repairs are completed.

A water bowser has been deployed to supply water to the affected areas during the interruption.

SWSC sincerely regrets the inconvenience caused and appeals to all affected customers to use water sparingly until supply is fully restored.
