GOVT CANNOT EMPLOY EVERYONE.
No, but if you are a graduate and thinking on those lines of waiting for a government job then we're doomed as a country.
For me the question should be about an Enabling Environment for Entrepreneur growth such as
1. Lower taxes for SMEs

2. No taxes for start ups for at least three years period

3. Easy access to business funding for SME and Not the Corrupt ways of CEEC, Et'al

4. Easier regulations for start ups

5. Cutting the costs of registration
for start ups

6. Twinning of foreign businesses to Zambian SMEs

7. Preferential treatment of Zambian businesses in government contracts to encourage growth.

8. Opening up Regional and International markets to SMEs and not block them through stifling regulations.
9. Fight corruption in areas it is trying to improve people's lives.

10. Reserve certain businesses for Zambians only

These above and more the government can do to help grow our economy and reduce the gap between the rich and the poor. Create a wealthy middle class.
