It is the responsibility of every good contractor to ensure the employee and community is fully informed and aware of practices that contributes to the curbing of sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.
It is also incumbent upon the contractor to further engage the community and people around the construction site, including their employee, to practice good gender cognizance and how to sort out issues without resorting to GBV.
In an effort to reinforce these important practices, DnD Enterprises this afternoon was excited to have engaged the youths and other members of the Uningi community in Mbala District through the office of the DACA in a discussion relating to HIV and AIDS matters and GBV. Where condoms were distributed and a demonstration of how to properly put them on was conducted.
The response was overwhelming and we are proud to have played a part in sensitizing the masses about the subject.
