BICA Group Announces New Dates for the National Solar Energy Conference
Lusaka, Zambia – BICA Group Limited, organisers of the National Solar Energy Conference, wishes to inform all partners, delegates, and stakeholders of the rescheduling of the upcoming conference.
The conference, originally scheduled for 27th–29th August 2025 at the Kenneth Kaunda Wing, Mulungushi International Conference Centre, will now take place on 27th–29th October 2025 at the same venue.
Held under the theme “Enhancing Our National Energy Security by Accelerating the Deployment of Solar PV Systems in Zambia – The Regulatory Framework”, the National Solar Energy Conference continues to serve as a premier platform for dialogue, collaboration, and action. The event will bring together government officials, regulators, private sector leaders, financial institutions, development partners, researchers, NGOs, and community representatives to examine opportunities and challenges in advancing Zambia’s solar energy agenda.
Key focus areas of the conference will include:
Renewable energy policy and regulation
Solar technology development and end-of-life management
Financing mechanisms for sustainable energy access
Rural electrification and community engagement
Circular economy and recycling of solar components
Gender, youth, and inclusion in the energy sector
