Effective mantainance is a trending concern in manufacturing and other related organisations because it reduces production costs and assures best quality of products hence maximum revenue for an Enterprise. Thus to promote growth in our local and regional industries, the Department of Technology Centre at Harare Institute of Technology is offering a Maintenance Course which introduces modern Maintenance Strategies and Technologies to meet the requirements of modern machinery and equipment needs. Modern strategies cater for Preventative Maintenance, Proactive Maintenance, Reliability Centred Maintenance and Prescriptive Maintenance techniques. After the course the students are awarded a proficiency based certificate.
