Every year, Earth Day is celebrated on 22 April.
This year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet”, resonates with us at Ener-G-Africa.
We believe that climate progress will not come from a single policy or organisation, but from practical action taken consistently by people, wherever they are.
We are all about creating planet-positive solutions designed and built in Africa for the people who live here - solutions that support families, homes, businesses, communities and future generations.
For example, from our solar panel manufacturing facility in Paarl, we are contributing to a more localised, responsive energy ecosystem - one where availability, quality and support are shaped by people on the ground. Across both solar and clean cooking solutions, we are focusing not only on sustainability, but also on resilience.
We are (quite literally) helping to put cleaner energy solutions into the hands of the people who need them most.
Earth Day is a reminder that meaningful change starts with practical action, wherever we are.
