Ambassador to Zimbabwe and High Commissioner to Botswana and Malawi

Adler Aristilde leads Canada’s diplomatic missions in Zimbabwe, Botswana and Malawi, and oversees Canada’s engagement with the Southern African Development Community (SADC). With over 20 years in the Canadian public service, he has held senior roles across foreign policy, international development, innovation and impact, strategic planning, and institutional partnerships at Global Affairs Canada. He previously served as Canada’s Representative to UNAIDS and as Political Counsellor at the Canadian Embassy in Dakar, covering several West African countries. A former journalist and radio host, he holds degrees in Political Science, Business Management, and Public Policy from Concordia University.
