We are proud to welcome Professor Raghav Khanna, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the The University of Toledo, to the speaker line-up of EVIS America 2026.

Professor Khanna’s research focuses on power electronics, renewable energy integration, and wide bandgap semiconductor technologies based on GaN and SiC for electric vehicles, aerospace, maritime, and clean energy applications.

Prior to academia, he worked with leading organizations including Lockheed Martin and HRL Laboratories, where he contributed to the development of GaN-based EV battery chargers and advanced energy systems.

A leading voice in advanced air mobility, Dan is dedicated to the ethical advancement of emerging aviation technologies, including drones and autonomous aircraft. A former U.S. Air Force Captain and recipient of the Humanitarian Service Medal, he has led multiple electric aviation ventures and delivered keynote addresses at global platforms including NASA and the United Nations.

Currently an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas, Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, and member of the World Economic Forum AVIATE committee, Dan continues to shape the future of electric aviation and advanced mobility.
