Our CEO, Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, participated in the inaugural meeting of the Energy Sector Investors’ Council, chaired by HE Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, this week in Tashkent.

The Council provides a platform for direct dialogue between the Government and investors on strategic priorities for the development of the energy sector.

Masdar is proud to be a partner in Uzbekistan’s clean energy journey since 2019. Our growing portfolio in the country includes more than 2GW of clean energy capacity, with over $2 billion invested and a commitment to deliver an additional 2GW.



شارك محمد جميل الرمحي، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة "مصدر"، هذا الأسبوع في طشقند، في الاجتماع الأول لمجلس المستثمرين في قطاع الطاقة، برئاسة فخامة شوكت ميرضيائيف، رئيس جمهورية أوزبكستان.

ويشكل المجلس منصة للحوار المباشر بين الحكومة والمستثمرين حول الأولويات الاستراتيجية لتطوير قطاع الطاقة.

وتفخر "مصدر" بمساهمتها في دعم جهود أوزبكستان لتطوير قطاع الطاقة النظيفة منذ عام 2019، وتشمل أنشطة الشركة في البلاد محفظة مشاريع طاقة متجددة تتجاوز قدرتها 2 غيغاواط، وباستثمارات تزيد على ملياري دولار أمريكي، إلى جانب التزامها بتطوير مشاريع إضافية بقدرة تبلغ 2 غيغاواط.

Our GFF is aligned with international blue finance guidance and has been assigned SQS1 (Excellent) by Moody’s, its highest sustainability quality score.
