The NMDC Coastal & Hydrodynamic Center is the first of its kind in the Middle East and West Asia, introducing advanced hydraulic physical modelling capabilities within the region.
The facility strengthens in-country engineering capacity, improves operational efficiency, and reduces reliance on external testing facilities, enabling more effective delivery of complex marine projects.

تُعد منشأة اختبارات النمذجة الفيزيائية الهيدروليكية المتقدمة الأولى من نوعها في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وغرب آسيا، حيث توفر قدرات متقدمة لاختبارات النمذجة الفيزيائية الهيدروليكية داخل المنطقة.

Our region’s first hydraulic physical modelling test facility enables the simulation and physical testing of complex marine, coastal and offshore infrastructure under controlled conditions.
The facility supports engineers in simulating waves, tides and currents, and validating the performance of ports, breakwaters, sea walls and offshore structures using scaled physical models before construction.

تتيح أول منشأة تجارية في المنطقة لاختبارات النمذجة الفيزيائية الهيدروليكية إمكانية محاكاة واختبار البنية التحتية البحرية والساحلية والمنشآت البحرية المعقدة ضمن بيئة مخبرية خاضعة للتحكم الكامل.
وتُمكّن المنشأة المهندسين من محاكاة الأمواج والمدّ والتيارات، والتحقق من أداء الموانئ وكواسر الأمواج والجدران البحرية والمنشآت البحرية باستخدام نماذج مصغّرة تحاكي الواقع قبل التنفيذ.

NMDC Dredging & Marine inaugurates NMDC Coastal & Hydrodynamic Center, the region’s first commercial hydraulic physical modelling facility, and commissions its first project, bringing advanced marine testing capabilities to the UAE for the first time.

Launched during Make it in the Emirates 2026, the facility strengthens local engineering capabilities, supports faster project delivery, and reinforces the UAE’s position as a global hub for industrial and engineering excellence.

افتتحت شركة إن إم دي سي دريدجينج اند مارين أول منشأة تجارية متخصصة في المنطقة لاختبارات النمذجة الفيزيائية الهيدروليكية، أول منشأة تجارية في المنطقة لاختبارات النمذجة الفيزيائية الهيدروليكية، كما دشّنت أول مشروع يتم تنفيذه داخل المركز، لتوفير قدرات متقدمة للاختبارات البحرية داخل دولة الإمارات للمرة الأولى.
