🚀 Mission: Mars Complete!

Today at the Al Alfiya - Space Corporation x BLINC Space Camp, our young explorers blasted off into the world of Mars Rovers 🪐

The children learned how rovers move across the Red Planet, the challenges of Mars terrain, and what it really takes to explore another world. 🌌

The highlight? 🤯
A real Mars Rover rolled in for a visit! Seeing a rover in action brought space exploration to life in the most exciting way.

Inspired by what they saw, the campers became engineers themselves—designing and building their own rovers, then putting them to the test as they explored custom-made terrains. 🔧🌋

Fueling future astronauts, one mission at a time🚀👩‍🚀✨

Today at the Al Alfiya - Space Corporation x BLINC Space Camp our young explorers:

🍽️ Learned all about space food (what astronauts really eat!)
🛰️ Finished building their own satellites
🖨️ 3D printed their very own space rockets 🚀
🥽 Stepped into VR space walks to “fix” the International Space Station 🛠️🌌

Hands-on learning, big imagination, and so much fun 🔥👏

Day at the Al Alfiya - Space Corporation x BLINC Space Camp: satellites, robotics, and real astronaut missions brought to life.

Today the children:

🛰️ Built their own satellites and learned the vital role satellites play in everyday life (from GPS to communication and weather).

🤖 Learned how to program robots — and each child took turns controlling their own robot.

👨‍🚀 Connected robotics to real spacewalks (EVAs): how astronauts move, work, and stay safe outside the spacecraft.

⚠️ Explored the risks astronauts face when repairing the International Space Station — and the problem-solving required in extreme conditions.

The best part was seeing them link the science, the engineering, and the teamwork together in a practical, hands-on, fun way. This is how confidence and curiosity are built.

Day 2 of the Al Alfiya - Space Corporation x BLINC Space Camp has been absolutely unforgettable.

One of today’s most exciting activities was diving into the world of space suits—why they exist, how they work, and what it really takes to protect an astronaut in the harshest environment imaginable.

Our campers had the chance to try on suits inspired by NASA and SPACEX and we also explored a truly iconic piece of space history: a prototype suit connected to Felix Baumgartner’s Red Bull Stratos mission—the record-breaking jump from the stratosphere on 14 October 2012.

That mission made history, including records for a skydive from around 39 km (24 miles) and reaching an estimated top speed of 1,357.64 km/h (Mach 1.25).

Seeing the children’s faces as they learned, asked questions, and imagined themselves as future astronauts is exactly why we do this.

Al Alfiya - Space Corporation x BLINC Space has officially launched at The Club Abu Dhabi!

Our young explorers dove straight into an unforgettable space adventure—full of excitement, creativity, and hands-on discovery ✨ From meeting an interactive robot dog that quickly became a crowd favorite 🐾🤖, to journeying through the universe inside our immersive dome 🌌, every moment sparked curiosity.

They even took on the challenge of harvesting asteroid materials to design their own satellites 🛠️🛰️ and stepped into the shoes of real astronauts by trying on authentic spacesuits from and 👩‍🚀🚀

An incredible start to a week dedicated to innovation, imagination, and big dreams beyond Earth 🌍💫
