Naz Industries says its new cement bulker for Al Rajhi Group in Jordan is a trailer industry first
WABCO-designed axle and brake system with safety controls applied to whole bulker is a region first, explains Naz Industries' Adel Mir Riahi
Naz Industries has confirmed that it recently delivered a specially-designed cement bulker to Al Rajhi Group in Jordan.
Adel Mir Riahi, GM – Operation, Naz Industries told T&FME that the trailer supplied to the Al Rajhi cement factory features an axle and brake system designed by WABCO which is being used in the region for the first time.
“It took almost a month to design the brake system by WABCO and share the design with us. And it took almost a month to implement the system on the bulkers and program it to check the functionality,” he told T&FME.
“This sophisticated brake and axle system and the safety controls applied to whole bulker is being used for the first time in the Middle East.”

Product: Cement Bulkers, 52cbm capacity (60 tons)
5 Axles (5×12 tons)– 2 Lifting Axles ( Front & Rear) , 2 Steering Axles ( 2 in the Rear) with 3 Air suspension Axles.
2 Lifting Axles – Will be automatically up during empty load and will be automatically down with 30+ Tons load.
2 Steering Axles – Will be automatically unlocked @ 2 to 30 Km/Hr speed and will be automatically locked 30+ Km/hr speed and in Reverse movement.
With EBS system programmed as per WABCO (ZF) standard for automatic brake functions for maximum safety as per customer requirement.
ABS sensor was installed on the 3rd and 4th axle to monitor the wheel speed and send this information to the modulator system.
Warning lamp control is added in the brake program, if there is any fault in the brake system it will blink in the drivers dashboard.
Smart board for checking all Axles functions , like Lifting, Steering , other Axles, etc.
Pressure regulators are set to control Air Pressure in suspension pillows.
Pressure Gauges for monitoring Service Line Pressure .
Tilt alert (Tilt warning) above 2 degree if the bulker modulator will tilt in a curve road it will automatically apply the brake to avoid any accident.
