Electrical Principle
A bulb with higher wattage has lower resistance compared to low-wattage bulbs when designed for the same voltage.
In this mixed connection:
The current and voltage are not equally distributed.
The 50W bulb draws current differently because of its resistance characteristics.
The circuit arrangement causes insufficient voltage across the 50W lamp filament, so it only glows dimly.
Another way to see it:
The 10W bulbs have higher resistance, so they drop more voltage and glow brighter in this configuration.
The 50W bulb has lower resistance, so the voltage across it becomes too small for full brightness.
