Here are a few highlights from the India Gold Conference (IGC) 2026 powered by SAM Precious Metals, held from 20th to 23rd August 2026 at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, Goa.

Amidst the current regional instability, its global impacts, and the increase in passive holding of gold, this year the theme of the event was 'IGC 2026: India Gold Vision: Recycle, Reform & Re-Innovate.'

The conference brought together senior stakeholders, industry leaders, and business owners to discuss key topics such as gold recycling, import reforms, trade with global bullion centers, and more.

Our Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Ahmad Abu Ahmad, attended the conference representing SAM Precious Metals.

On 19 August 2026, SAM Precious Metals welcomed Mr. Ahmed Bin Sulayem , Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DMCC - Dubai Multi Commodities Centre , at our headquarters in Dubai.

Today, on 18 August 2026, His Excellency Lorenzo Fanara, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to the United Arab Emirates, visited SAM Precious Metals’ headquarters in Dubai, accompanied by His Excellency Edoardo Napoli, Consul General of the Republic of Italy in Dubai.
