Here’s a quick breakdown of common filler materials used in welding different base metals:

✅ Carbon Steel – E7018
Known for low hydrogen and high strength. Perfect for structural and pipe welding.

✅ Stainless Steel – ER308L
Excellent corrosion resistance. Ideal for welding 304/304L stainless.
