How to choose natural wood for your countertop? 🪵
Natural wood is always about status, timeless coziness, and aesthetics. But choosing the right slab requires attention to detail.
We are currently selecting materials for a large-scale project in Dubai. Here’s what we look for first:
1. Size & Geometry: For large islands and countertops, long, solid slabs are essential (we found some gorgeous 3.75m options).
2. Finishing: Protection against moisture and oils (e.g., Rubio Monocoat-type oils) is crucial, as the kitchen is a high-activity zone.
3. Uniqueness of the Grain: No two trees in nature are identical, making every countertop an exclusive piece.
