Hi,
After getting back home, being settled down and packing the baggage, it's time for a piece of writing we should have written sometime earlier.
Strike Automobiles was never alone, at every moment of hardship, there was someone on our side. Our journey was not only about the team but it was about everyone we ever worked together with. From sponsors down to everyone who only encouraged us by a motivating word. The least thing we can do is to say thank you….
Sponsors – How could things have gone without you? Cannot forget the hours we’ve spent under the hot sun knocking different doors of companies and seeking the support that you all decided to be part of. It’s obvious how hard was it to get sponsors by our side and how hard was it to get some people convinced about it but you were that driving force which was good enough to keep the engine of hard working operative. Please accept our thanks!
Mr. Ryan – What word can describe this hero? He was the most to believe in us and was by our side since we ever made the team and our identity from scratch. At every obstacle that we met, he was the one we leaned on to overcome it. When we were running out of time, he was always there to say, I would help with this and that! Can you think of a teacher that once stayed up until 4 in the morning not to do his work but to make sure we did our work with someone by our side. He was the best teacher we ever met in life and the one who cannot be forgotten no matter how life goes.
Ms. Nan - This astonishing lady, our school principal could have known nothing about us until we became the school’s representatives, at that moment, she was counting our steps and ensuring everything was fine with us more than we did. In the UAE finals, or the world finals, can’t remember how many fundraisers did we have in school with her support. She said fine to selling Donuts in school though it was unhealthy food just because she knew this would raise money for us. She helped us as much as she could even when it came to financial hurdles we experienced. Ms. Nan! A big thank you to you!!
Parents – Once you read this, you will know yourselves. At every moment through the way, at every set back and obstacle we faced, you were only there to motivate us and tell us how confident we should be to get there to our goal. “Take me there, pick us from there, I’m staying to do after school work today, I can’t go outside today, leave me at home please I have got F1 work to do” it was all words that you kept hearing during the last few months and just responded by OK with no argument! Thank you; you’ve been the motivation part of our journey.
Friends and fans – Think this like button at the bottom of every post doesn’t make sense? Just because you were there, we got up to this stage of publicity. Hope that we made you proud of us and wish you every success you’ve wished to us.
Thank you Allah for every second of good experience you’ve given to us since we joined this initiative!!
