This edition of Women at Al Abbar Group features 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗠. 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗼, Senior Structural Engineer, Design & Engineering Office.

Angelica joined in 2012 and has since contributed to airports, hotels, and residences that define the UAE skyline. Her standout milestone: the Al Shera'a DEWA Project — the world's tallest, largest, and smartest net-zero energy building. As Structural Engineer and Façade Specialist, she evaluated building envelope systems and prepared design and calculation reports for a structure defined by unique geometry, complex interfaces, and structural movement.

That work earned her recognition as a Chartered Engineer and Internationally Registered Engineer in 2024.

In a field traditionally dominated by men, Angelica's journey is proof of what happens when talent, dedication, and technical ability are what count.
