We are delighted to announce Dr. Salwa Fawzy as one of the esteemed panelists for Agile PMA’s upcoming session at Egypt Arbitration Days (EAD) 2025.
Dr. Salwa Fawzy is the Contracts and Commercial Director at Tameer Real Estate, with distinguished expertise in FIDIC contracts, construction claims, and arbitration. She has advised a wide range of stakeholders, including employers, contractors, consultants, and project management firms, and has served as arbitrator and co-counsel in construction-related disputes.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and an instructor at the American University in Cairo (AUC), where she delivers courses on FIDIC, procurement, contract management, and construction claims. Dr. Fawzy holds a PhD in Law from Université Paris-Dauphine, an LLM in Construction Law and Arbitration from Robert Gordon University, and a BSc in Construction Engineering from AUC.
She is also the author of the famous book “Practicing FIDIC in Civil Law Jurisdictions: Application of Time and Additional Payment Provisions”, and has published widely on topics including claims, contract termination, global claims, and the legal application of time "at large".
