Enerwhere is proud to announce that they have been chosen to power an educational facility in Sharjah’s largest megaproject – Al Jada. SIS-Aljada is the second SABIS Network school in Sharjah, and the fifteenth in the UAE. The initial enrolment for kindergarten and primary students at the Sabis International School is set to begin in September 2021.

Enerwhere has planned to take over power by using an MV solar-diesel hybrid mini-grid which is estimated to reduce CO2 emissions on site by 26% annually. This is the fourth facility at Al Jada to be powered using our advanced hybrid system.

Enerwhere had built the solar-battery hybrid system for a new Khalifa University climate change study. The study uses a micro-meteorological tower to investigate how Mangrove forests interact with climate in arid regions and is funded by the Department of Energy of the United States. Khalifa University micro-met station is also part of the Carbo-extreme network of the European Commission - a network devoted to studying carbon and water fluxes from ecosystems thriving at the very edge of the terrestrial climatic spectrum.
