**Job Description:**
As a Piling & Shoring Designer, you will be responsible for the design and analysis of piling and shoring systems for various construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that designs meet project specifications, safety standards, and budgetary constraints.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and prepare detailed design calculations and drawings for piling and shoring systems.
- Conduct site investigations and assess soil conditions to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate piling and shoring designs with overall project plans.
- Review and evaluate design proposals and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for project submissions.
- Provide technical support during construction phases, including site inspections and troubleshooting.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to piling and shoring.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in piling and shoring design within the UAE.
- Proficient in design software such as PLAXIS, LUSAS, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the UAE.
