Safety remains at the heart of everything we do at Tristar, and we make a habit of it. On 7 June, Tristar organized yet another of its Quarterly Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Drivers Gathering, a practice it has been following for the last 25 years.

The meeting brought together drivers, ground staff, employees, and customers to reinforce the importance of safe driving and driver wellbeing 🦺

A proud milestone highlighted during the event was Tristar’s 25-year record of zero-fatality operations - reflecting the Group’s unwavering commitment to safety training and driver excellence standards 🏆

Group CEO Eugene Mayne reminded drivers of the responsibility that comes with every journey:

“Safety must run in our veins. We are here for ourselves and our families. Drive safely so you do not endanger other lives or your own.”

Key speakers included Thomas Edelmann, Managing Director of roadsafetyuae.com, who spoke on effective hazard perception ⚠️, and Dr Maya Rathod, who shared insights on understanding driver fatigue and how to avoid it.

The event also recognized outstanding drivers who exemplified the six principles of Tristar’s Driver Safety Norms.
