The Load Wasn't the Challenge—The Floor Capacity Was. The URW-1006 Had It Covered.
For a project in Saudi Arabia, the team needed to lift and install steel structures while working at height and operating within the slab load capacity of the building.
To carry out the work safely, the URW1006 Spider Crane and 16m Scissor Lifts were deployed on site. The scissor lifts provided access for the installation team, while the URW1006 handled the lifting and positioning of the steel structures.
As the crane was operating on a slab with load restrictions, large outrigger mats were placed beneath the crane's outriggers to distribute the load over a larger area. This helped meet the slab load requirements while allowing the crane to work safely.
With the equipment properly set up and the lifting plan in place, the steel installation was completed safely and efficiently, helping the project progress as scheduled.
