Saudi Abrasives of Dammam, Saudi Arabia is the pioneer and leader in the Middle East for manufacture and distribution of steel shot and steel grit. Situated in MODON Second Industrial Area, it occupies a sprawling area of 21,000 square meters of factory space. This facility is promoted by a highly competent team of technocrats with over 30 years of experience in the anti-corrosion industry of the Middle East. State-of-the-art machineries installed in the factory use latest available technologies to produce over 10,000 metric tons of world class steel shot, and steel grit per annum. The plant is equipped with two medium frequency induction melting furnaces which support highly advanced atomizing systems that are followed by various machineries to achieve precise standards in hardening, tempering, crushing and screening to meet the SAE & ISO International standards for steel abrasives. The factory also boasts of one of the best metallurgical laboratories with most advanced testing instruments like SPECTROMAX spectrometer From Germany, Micro hardness tester, Metallographic polisher and Sieve Analyzer. The microstructure, hardness and chemical composition of the abrasives is thus ensured to be within acceptable standards. Finally, before leaving the factory our product is tested using the Ervin Test Machines which measures the Durability (life) as well as Transmitted Energy (impact) of the abrasive, which are two of the most important measures of its value and quality. Our SA Grit Coal Slag is tough, clean and economical abrasive with less than 1% free silica. Its unique angular shape and hardness quickly cut away existing coatings, and is suitable for SA-3, SA-2 ½, SA-2, as well as sweep blasting. The company also has a technical support team which is trained to empower our customers to achieve optimal results by providing the quality products they need, and the exceptional service they deserve! In addition to the above, we also produce premier quality blast, air and paint hoses using Italian machineries and technology.
