DUNA INVESTS IN PHOTOVOLTAICS

With the arrival of spring, the latest-generation 999 kWp photovoltaic system on the roofs of the Modena headquarters is fully operational. 66% of the self-produced energy will be used to power the company's needs, while the rest will be fed back into the grid, eliminating approximately 470,000 kg of CO2 emissions for each operating year. "Thanks to this investment, we are reducing emissions equivalent to planting a small forest of 19,000-24,000 mature trees, or equivalent to approximately 240 cars on the road each year," comments Marta Brozzi, President and CEO of DUNA-Corradini S.p.A., and concludes "this represts the modern and respectful way of doing business that we are extremely proud of."
