One of the biggest questions we considered while developing PE Software was:

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀?

Think about a construction company that has completed 20, 50, or even 100 projects.

Those projects contain valuable planning knowledge:

• What activities were actually required?
• What productivity rates were achieved?
• How long did the work actually take?
• What were the typical relationships?
• What resources and submittals were required?

Why shouldn't this experience help build the company's 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲?

There is another challenge.

It is very rare to find one Planning Engineer who has worked on every project type. One may have experience in high-rise buildings, another in infrastructure, MEP, industrial projects, roads, or fit-out.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀?

Why can two Planning Engineers in the 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 produce significantly different baseline schedules for similar projects?

We believe:
