Talc is also called steatite – or, in chemical terms, hydrated magnesium silicate. It is the main component of soapstone. Its crystals usually develop massive, leafy aggregates with laminar particles. Ground talc is called talcum. Talc has a high capacity for absorbing organic substances. After screening, crushing, grinding and classifying we provide mainly three types talc to our valued customers; A) - pure white talc, B) - Green Star talc, and C) - Brown brightly talc.
Pure white grinded talc is suitable to use in production of paper, paints, food items, chewing gum, personal care production, polyester putties, cordierite ceramics, plastics, rubber, and pharma.
Green Star talc or coarse grayish-green high-talc powder has an excellent heat retention qualities and radiate heat long after the fire is put out. Its low surface temperature makes it a safer alternative to steel, and its ability to withstand direct flame without cracking or discoloration makes it better than clay or ceramic for use in a fireplace. So it is suitable to use for stoves, sinks, electrical switchboards, electric cables, crayons, soap, and etc.
Mostly the brown talc is used for brightness purpose of paint, PVC, soap, and cosmetics. The brown talc is available on huge quantity and low price compare to green and white at Eastern Region of Afghanistan.
