We are pleased to announce that three members of our laboratory have been awarded FEMS Meeting Attendance Grants to participate in the European Bioenergetics Conference (EBEC 2026) in Stockholm.

Congratulations to:

Liana Vanyan
Anion and cation fluxes in Escherichia coli during glucose fermentation and implications for bioenergetic coupling.

Lilit Grigoryan
Interplay between FocA-mediated formate transport and F₀F₁-ATPase in regulating proton flux in Escherichia coli.

Liana Anikyan
Mitochondrial dysfunction rewires proton homeostasis and redox regulation under variable pH and glucose conditions in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Their work reflects our group’s ongoing research in bacterial and yeast bioenergetics and metabolic regulation, and we are delighted to see their work shared within the international bioenergetics community.

We wish them a successful and inspiring experience at EBEC 2026.
