Position: Operations Manager / Warehouse Manager

Work Locations: Luanda, Caxito, Lobito, Cabinda or Menongue

Main duties:
1. Organize and monitor the business operational activities of a project in a safe, efficient and effective manner, in accordance with the procedure.
2. Provide proper support and clear direction to team members.
3. Engage and supervise the performance of the teams.
4. Provide regular feedback to team members regarding their performance.
5. Develop and improve processes to improve the consistency and efficiency of service delivery.
6. Maintain goods relationships with customers and working parties.
7. Solve problems in any process of the operations.
8. Report operation performance to supervisors according to schedule.
9. Escalate potential issues to supervisors to reduce the impact on operations.
10. Complete ac-hoc activities according to requirements by supervisors.

Requirements:
1. Diploma or Degree holder required (overseas exposure/ experience preferred).
2. At least 5 years’ operations experience preferably experience in factory/ warehouse/ logistics/ machinery of which at least 2 years at supervisory level.
3. Strong leadership and ex*****on ability.
4. Strong sense of responsibility and self- motivated with good problem solving skills.
5. Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
6. Willing to work outdoor, on shifts, during weekends and public holidays.
7. Willing to work in tough environment and remote locations.
8. Having a valid driving license in Angola.
9. Good computer literacy in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint and Email.
10. Good command of spoken English AND Portuguese (good command of Mandarin highly preferred).
