Meet the OC NL Discovery Mission Participants 🌍
This October, we're excited to host the very first OC NL Discovery Mission, together with Heineken. 11 outstanding entrepreneurs from across our Orange Corners network will travel to the Netherlands to explore the Dutch entrepreneurial ecosystem and discover new business opportunities.
Over the coming weeks, we'll be introducing each of these entrepreneurs. First up: Elisa Capololo from Orange Corners Angola.
Through Talama & Soba, Elisa transforms surplus and seasonal fruit into natural dried fruit products, preserving their nutritional value and authentic flavour without additives. By reducing food waste and creating healthy, long-lasting snacks, Talama & Soba supports local farmers, promotes sustainable agriculture and makes nutritious food more accessible.
During the mission, Elisa is looking to deepen her knowledge of Dutch and European best practices in food safety, packaging, quality management and export requirements for dried fruits. She's particularly interested in connecting with organisations and companies working in:
• Innovative food packaging and value-added fruit products
• Dried fruit production and processing
• Import and distribution of dried fruits in Europe
• Food safety, quality assurance and European export regulations
