We didn't design the first airplane, but we invented Doka 360. ✈️

Flying changed how we saw the world. Distance became manageable. Perspective expanded.

Doka 360 brings that shift to the formwork process by connecting planning, ordering, logistics and the jobsite in one continuous process.

Connected information. Aligned processes. This is just the beginning. Stay tuned ➡️ https://bit.ly/3Ur64GN

How do you demolish a 19-story building when busy roads and occupied high-rises are just meters away? 🏗️

At 100 S. Biscayne Boulevard, the former office tower is being demolished to make way for the future One Bayfront Plaza development.

Doka’s Protection screen Xclimb 60 provides a full enclosure around the work area, helping protect the adjacent roadways from falling debris. When parts of the existing steel structure proved unsuitable for the originally planned attachment, Doka worked with the project team to develop an engineered concept that redistributes and reduces the loads transferred into the structure.

Adapted to the conditions on site, the solution supported the AlliedBean team with a practical way forward while maintaining the required focus on safety – because when it really matters, our solutions make it work. 🚀

Efficient construction underground depends on more than just the right system - it requires a well-coordinated service approach. 🚀

On the U2xU5 Metro expansion in Vienna, Doka supports the project with a comprehensive service package including pre-assembly, on-site assembly, and a sophisticated logistics concept based on the “piggyback” method.

Transportable formwork units are pre-assembled, placed on transport wagons, and moved underground to their exact point of use, where they are quickly coupled and ready for operation. This reduces on-site assembly effort and supports flexible construction sequences - even in confined inner-city conditions. 🏙️

Doka has been part of the project since 2021, starting at Matzleinsdorfer Platz and continuing across several stations. By combining engineering, pre-assembly, and on-site expertise, we support reliable workflows - because we don’t leave our customers hanging, especially when projects require precise coordination under challenging conditions. 🚀

We didn't invent the light bulb, but we invented Doka 360. 💡

Every era has its breakthrough. Doka 360 is ours. Light brought what was hidden in the dark into view. Doka 360 brings that same clarity to the formwork process, making the right information visible when and where it matters.

One system. One source. Built for greater transparency and better-informed decisions.

This is just the beginning. Stay tuned ➡️ https://bit.ly/4wnOh0B

How do you safely dismantle a 13-storey building in the middle of a busy urban environment? 🏗️

At the Volpe Demolition Project in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the former National Transportation Systems Center site is being prepared for Kendall Common, a new mixed-use development that will bring together residential, commercial and community spaces. ✨

Working closely with JDC Demolition and structural engineer Thornton Tomasetti, Doka developed a tailored protection concept based on the Protection screen Xclimb 60. Originally designed for high-rise construction, the system was adapted for demolition and installed as pre-assembled segments, creating a fully enclosed working area. As demolition progressed, the hydraulically operated screen was lowered automatically, helping contain debris, dust and noise while maintaining continuous protection in the densely built urban environment. 🏙️

From engineering and pre-assembly to site supervision, we supported the team throughout every stage of the demolition - because we don’t leave our customers hanging.

Vienna’s U2xU5 Metro expansion is reshaping urban mobility, adding a new fully automated metro line and extending existing infrastructure deep below the city. 🚇

At the Neubaugasse station, escalator tunnels create the key connection between platform, distribution level and surface. Their 22.5° incline requires precise coordination between planning, pre-assembly and on-site ex*****on.

Doka’s solution: a longitudinally split and foldable SL‑1 tunnel formwork traveller. The units are pre-assembled in a horizontal position, transported in a 22.5° inclination, and unfolded to full size at the installation point - allowing the inclined geometry to be realized step by step. 🚀

Doka has been supporting the project since 2021, starting at Matzleinsdorfer Platz and continuing through multiple stations along the alignment. From planning to ex*****on, we put ourselves in our partners’ shoes to understand site constraints and develop practical solutions, such as those required in challenging underground conditions.

‚We make it work‘ ist für uns kein Spruch – wir leben das.“
– Matthias Urban, Projektleiter
