Sustainability has been part of our mindset since 1875, when our founder August Sattler laid the foundation for the values that guide our manufacturing, teamwork, and the way we work with our customers. Back then, we didn’t call it sustainability. We called it responsibility.
Since then, we have continuously worked to reduce our environmental impact: through practical measures like well-designed waste systems, the development of membranes with significantly lower environmental impacts (hello COMPLAN GlobeGuard and our newest edition Halls & Tents GlobeGuard), useful promotional items, and active participation in forward-looking initiatives such as Vinyl Plus - just to name a few...

So for 💚 World Environment Day 2026 💚, we would like to highlight the Project and its mission to develop circular value chains for complex plastic materials. The project focuses on challenging materials like PVC tarpaulins - durable, composite-like products that are difficult to recycle - and promotes innovation across collection, reuse, repair, remanufacturing, recycling, and ecodesign.

What makes this initiative particularly meaningful is the collaboration behind it. It is rare to see leading players across the industry come together in this way, setting aside competition to work toward a shared goal (yes, even competitors can get along when it really matters). It is a strong reminder that real progress happens when we focus on solutions for our collective future.

We are truly proud to be part of this team and to help shape the future of membranes.

Come on, let's all meet up under one roof...well two actually.

Right in the center of Dorsten, an open-air venue has been reimagined.
Now “Oude Marie” is a true meeting place, where culture, architecture, and community come together.

Together with Textil Bau GmbH and architect Dr. Lars Meeß-Olsohn, this ambitious project brings nearly 700 m² of elegantly engineered membranes to life. Two striking steel masts, each over 12 meters tall, carry the lightweight yet powerful construction, creating a sense of openness while offering reliable protection from sun and rain.

But this is much more than a genius construction. It's a summer concert uninterrupted by sudden rain, conversations at the terrace bar under soft evening light, shared experiences that turn a public space into a living place.

"How" we hear you ask. Well, that’s exactly where comes in.

Our high-performance textile solution ATLAS helps shape spaces that bring people together, spaces that are functional, durable, and designed for real life. The Oude Marie amphitheater is a perfect example of how thoughtful textile architecture can elevate cultural venues and strengthen communities.

A quick glance at the program and you know: this place is buzzing.

There are many reasons to love the warmer weather,
a hot car is not one of them.

That's why our Architecture Types in 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗼𝘂𝘁 are so popular during the summer.

HTTF (High Tech Tensile Fabric) Herr İsmail did a fantastic job creating this market space, which also functions as a parking space in .

3.000 m² in a bright white and
1.000 m² in a bold yellow, both Type III, were used here.

I bet our team would be open to a quick customer visit ;)

We are in awe!
Some projects are impressive on paper, and then there are those that really make you stop and look.

This one in Gwangju, South Korea, definitely belongs to the second kind. Covering more than 9,500 m² and housing 12 indoor courts, the Yangbeol Tennis Air Dome is now the largest of its kind in Korea and one of the biggest in East Asia.

But what really stands out isn’t just the size. It’s the way the structure shapes the space around it. The smooth curves, the graphic membrane design...it gives the entire building a strong, iconic presence in the city. Big credit to DUOL Engineering for the engineering, precision, and trust that made this possible.

We at SATTLER PRO-TEX are proud to have contributed our high-performance membranes to this project. Materials that don’t just perform under pressure, but also help bring architectural ideas to life.

This is the kind of structure that doesn’t just cover a space, it defines it.

Can we just enjoy this roof for a second!

Some places just invite you to slow down for a moment
and this is definitely one of them.

Right in the vibrant city of , where old meets new and every corner has a story to tell, this project at Capacity AVM adds a fresh chapter. Nearly 5,200 m² of our ATLAS Type III membrane now stretch across the roof, creating a smooth, clean surface that feels as good as it looks.

What makes it special isn’t just the scale, it’s the precision behind it. Every detail fits perfectly, every line runs true. That’s where ATLAS really shows its strengths: reliable, dimensionally stable, and made for projects where quality can’t be compromised.

And of course, great materials need great hands. Huge credit to Erna Membran Yapılar San. ve Tic. A.Ş. for delivering such flawless work. You can really see the craftsmanship in every meter.

Honestly, it’s the kind of place where you just want to sit for a while and take it all in.
