Wie geht man richtig mit Risiken um? 💪🏻

Dieser Frage gingen unsere Lehrlinge aus Ried bei einem Ausflug in die Region Pyhrn-Priel auf den Grund: Im Rahmen des Erlebnisworkshops „Risiko schafft Sicherheit“ setzten sie sich mit dem bewussten Umgang mit Risiken auseinander und lernten, Situationen besser einzuschätzen. Anschließend ging es in den Hochseilpark am Gleinkersee, wo Mut, Vertrauen und Teamgeist gefragt waren. Der Sprung in den kühlen See durfte als Abschluss natürlich nicht fehlen! 🏊🏻

How to deal with risks properly? 💪🏻

This was the question our apprentices explored during a field trip to the Pyhrn-Priel region: As part of the adventure workshop “Risk Creates Safety”, they explored how to consciously manage risks and to better assess situations. Afterwards, they visited the high ropes course at Lake Gleinkersee, where courage, trust, and team spirit were put to the test. Needless to say, the trip wasn’t complete without a dip in the cool lake! 🏊🏻

Jede Menge strahlende Kinderaugen 🤩

Auch heuer war bei unserem Ferienprogramm wieder einiges geboten und die Kinder unserer Mitarbeiter:innen in Ried, Mettmach und St. Martin konnten sich nach Lust und Laune austoben. Sie haben gebastelt, gemalt, sich verkleidet, es wurde Popcorn gemacht, und aus Bauschaum entstanden die kreativsten Skulpturen.
Für besondere Erinnerungen sorgten ein Korbflechter, der sein Handwerk vorstellte, sowie „Reptilien-Raphael“, der spannende tierische Gäste mitgebracht hatte. Ganz besonders gut angekommen ist an den heißen Tagen sicher auch das vom Vorstand spendierte Eis.

Am Ende waren die zwei Wochen schneller vorbei als gedacht. Und die vielen strahlenden Kinderaugen haben gezeigt, dass sich der Aufwand mehr als gelohnt hat. 💚

Lots of sparkling children’s eyes 🤩

Once again this year, our holiday program had plenty to offer, and the children of our employees in Ried, Mettmach, and St. Martin were able to let off steam to their hearts’ content. They did crafts, painted, dressed up, made popcorn, and created the most creative sculptures out of building foam.
Special memories included a basket weaver who demonstrated his craft, as well as “Reptile Raphael,” who brought along some exciting animal guests. Another big hit on the hot days was certainly the ice cream provided by the Management Board.

Before we knew it, the two weeks were over. And the many sparkling children’s eyes showed that the effort was more than worth it. 💚

Manchmal sind es die stillen Minuten, die am meisten erzählen. Auf diesem Feld in Polen endet der Tag im goldenen Licht, während Mensch und Maschine noch einen Moment stehen bleiben. Ein Moment zwischen Müdigkeit und Zufriedenheit, zwischen Tag und Nacht – festgehalten im perfekten Augenblick. 🇵🇱

Gemeinsam Kilometer sammeln 🚴

Unser Standort in Altach nimmt heuer erstmals an der Aktion „Vorarlberg radelt“ teil. Ziel der Initiative ist es, möglichst viele Menschen für das Fahrrad als gesundes und nachhaltiges Verkehrsmittel zu begeistern.

Rund ein Drittel unserer Kolleg:innen vor Ort sitzt regelmäßig im Sattel. Mit knapp 5.000 Kilometer liegen sie aktuell auf Platz 15 von 41 in ihrer Kategorie – ein toller Beitrag für Gesundheit, Umwelt und Teamgeist. Die Aktion geht noch bis Ende September, wir drücken die Daumen für die nächsten Plätze nach vorne! 🇦🇹

Riding Together to Rack Up Kilometers 🚴

This year, our location in Altach has joined the “Vorarlberg Radelt” campaign for the first time. The goal of the initiative is to inspire as many people as possible to get on their bikes since it’s a healthy and sustainable mode of transportation.

About a third of our local colleagues ride regularly. With just under 5,000 kilometers, they currently rank 15th out of 41 in their category – a great contribution to health, environment, and team spirit. The campaign goes on until the end of September; we’re keeping our fingers crossed for them to move up the rankings! 🇦🇹

Digitalisierung zum Anfassen ☀️

Wie kann KI unseren Arbeitsalltag unterstützen? Welche Potenziale stecken in Microsoft Copilot? Und welche Möglichkeiten eröffnet die neue WINTERSTEIGER Data Cloud? Antworten darauf gab es beim „Digitalen SOMMERblick“. Anhand praxisnaher Beispiele zeigten unsere Expert:innen, wie digitale Lösungen bereits heute Mehrwert schaffen und neue Perspektiven eröffnen.

Using real-world examples, our experts demonstrated how digital solutions are already creating added value and opening up new perspectives today.

Wo Karrieren beginnen und Talente wachsen. 💚

Heute hat am Standort Ried das neue Lehrjahr begonnen. Neun junge Menschen starten bei WINTERSTEIGER in ihre berufliche Zukunft und werden in den kommenden Jahren verschiedenste Bereiche unseres Unternehmens kennenlernen. Begleitet von einem erfahrenen Ausbildner-Team sammeln sie Praxis in ihren Lehrberufen Mechatronik, Elektrotechnik, Metalltechnik und Metallbearbeitung und entwickeln sich Schritt für Schritt zu den Fachkräften von morgen.

Mit rund 60 Lehrlingen in insgesamt neun verschiedenen Lehrberufen zählt die Lehrlingsausbildung seit vielen Jahren zu den wichtigsten Bausteinen unserer Nachwuchsförderung. 🔝

Where careers begin and talents grow. 💚

Today marks the start of the new apprenticeship year at WINTERSTEIGER Ried. Nine young people have begun their professional careers and will spend the coming years gaining experience in our company's diverse business areas. Guided by an experienced team of instructors, they’ll get hands-on experience in their respective professions – mechatronics, electrical engineering, metal technology, and metalworking – and will gradually develop into the technical experts of tomorrow.

With around 60 apprentices across a total of nine different professions, apprenticeship training has been one of the most important pillars of our talent development program for many years. 🔝
