Celebrating 150 years. Worldwide. Together.

150 years of BENTELER are built not only technologies and products, but above all on the people who shape our company every day.

Throughout this anniversary year, colleagues and their families are coming together across the globe to celebrate this milestone.

In Paderborn, Germany, around 6,500 guests joined our largest family event. In Liberec, Czech Republic, 3,500 to 4,000 participants from all Czech locations celebrated both 30 years in the Czech Republic and our 150-year anniversary. In Burgos, Spain, around 200 colleagues from across all Spanish and Portuguese locations strengthened their team spirit during a shared sports event. And in Pune, India and Skultuna, Sweden, a family day brought colleagues, their families, and partners together for exchange, shared activities and recognition of outstanding contributions.

Across all these moments, one thing stands out: what connects us goes far beyond our daily work.

These celebrations strengthen our sense of belonging and show the strong community across teams, locations, and generations that defines us as a company.

Two plants. One stronger foundation for the future.

With the consolidation of our automotive component plants in Kleinenberg and Warburg completed in early 2026, BENTELER has created an integrated manufacturing network with expanded capabilities and a clear strategic direction.

Around 1,000 employees contribute their expertise across technologies such as welding, bending, forming, coating and assembly. By bringing these strengths together, the combined operation increases value creation, improves flexibility and delivers tailored solutions for customers.

The teams are also driving key projects that will shape the future of the business. These include the preparation for series production of a battery cooling plate, expanding BENTELER’s activities in e-mobility, as well as new applications beyond the automotive sector.

What makes the difference is the combination of expertise, innovation and the commitment of its people – creating a strong foundation for future growth.

Driving the Leapmotor D19 launch with integrated chassis solutions

We are proud to support the market launch of the Leapmotor D19 as a system partner for chassis development.

In this project, we contribute our engineering expertise and take responsibility for key functions within the overall vehicle concept. Our focus: safety, structural performance, and seamless integration to ensure reliable performance in series production.

The collaboration highlights our growing involvement in international development projects and reflects the rising importance of Asian OEMs in the global electric vehicle market.

Making numbers matter

For ten years, Marcelo Antonine from Campinas, Brazil has been turning complexity into clarity. In Controlling, he analyzes results, costs and revenues against plan, and translates deviations into solid decision support for the Americas market.

A key step in his journey was working at our Campinas plant. It gave him an end‑to‑end view from raw material arrival to customer invoicing. Today, he brings that operational perspective back into central analysis and helps onboard new colleagues.

What drives him is teamwork, strong day‑to‑day support, and leaders who create a motivating environment.

Award for Excellence: Congratulations to our team in Gebze

Our plant in Gebze, Turkey, has received the “Supply Industry Achievement Award” from the Executive Board of the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD - Otomotiv Sanayii Derneği), recognizing its strong performance in 2025.

The jury highlighted four key strengths: outstanding product quality, reliable on-time delivery, constructive collaboration in technology development, and a strong contribution to our customers’ competitiveness.

This award reflects what matters most to customers – and what the Gebze team delivers every day through technical expertise, teamwork, and a strong customer focus.

For more than 14 years, curiosity and perseverance have shaped Yalan Gao’s journey at BENTELER. As a product engineer, she works across drawings, technical reviews, customer communication, and cross‑departmental coordination to ensure smooth product delivery.

Built to evolve: Our plant in Wuhu driving lightweight construction

Since 2011, our plant in Wuhu has been an integral part of our BENTELER production network in China. Today, it specializes in structural components for lightweight construction using hot forming and high-precision laser processes. Sophisticated precision applications are just as important as cutting or welding.

Located in the Yangtze River Delta in Anhui Province – one of China’s key automotive regions – the site benefits from proximity to customers and partners. Around 280 employees drive quality, efficiency, and continuous development at our plant in Wuhu.

In recent years, we have further expanded capacities by adding new production phases, additional module assembly lines, and modern laser processing lines.

This enables us to stay flexible and meet customer requirements with speed, precision, and reliability.

Personnel Announcement: Thomas Glynn to become the new CFO of the BENTELER Group

In this role, he will also serve as Managing Director of BENTELER International Austria GmbH, our Group’s holding company, and will join CEO Ralf Göttel on the BENTELER Group Executive Board.

Thomas Glynn will succeed Dr. Tobias Braun, who will leave the company at his own request and by mutual agreement to pursue new professional challenges.

“I am glad that we have gained Thomas Glynn as an experienced finance leader with a strong international track record. His deep expertise will support us in further strengthening our financial performance and continuing to develop our finance organization,” said Hubertus Benteler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the BENTELER Group.

Ralf Göttel: “During his tenure, Tobias Braun successfully navigated BENTELER through challenging market conditions and significantly improved the company’s profitability. His achievements include the successful transformation of both the Steel/Tube Division and the Group as a whole, the strengthening of our financial resilience, and a significant contribution to positively shaping BENTELER’s corporate culture. He also played a key role in two refinancing rounds – in 2023 and again last year. On behalf of the entire company, I would like to thank Tobias Braun for his outstanding contributions and wish him all the best for the future.”

Quality that delivers: JLR honors our plant in Skultuna, Sweden

A strong signal from Sweden: JLR has awarded our Skultuna plant with a Quality Award –recognizing the team’s consistently high performance and strong collaboration within a global supply chain.

Since 2021, the team in Skultuna has produced more than 1,000,000 bumpers for the MLA platform of JLR Range Rover vehicles – a milestone that stands for quality, stability, and reliable processes at scale.

On behalf of all colleagues, Alexsandar Gocic, Plant Manager, Robin Cederth, Operations Manager, and Magnus Rehn, Quality Manager, accepted the award.

Congratulations to the entire team in Skultuna! This recognition reflects the trust our customers place in BENTELER – and the impact of strong teamwork behind the scenes.

Early Detection. Better Protection.

A recent example from our plant in Burgos demonstrates how occupational health care can go beyond existing standards.

There, an additional screening for the early detection of kidney disease is being integrated into occupational health care with the goal of identifying potential risks before symptoms appear. The project was initiated through close collaboration between our plant, regional healthcare organizations, and university hospitals in Burgos and Madrid.

And as the approach is easy to implement and designed to complement existing preventive care structures, the initiative was presented to other companies in the region during a press conference.

The project makes it clear: A small local initiative can generate momentum on a globally relevant topic like preventive health care.
