🌊 New in the USF Water Group Family 🌊

We are proud to introduce the latest member of our product portfolio: the USF StillMATE 1000-6-DUO.

This state-of-the-art generator produces both Water for Injection (WFI) and pure steam, fully compliant with the applicable pharmacopoeias. With this addition, the USF Water Group can meet even the most demanding customer requirements – including special stainless steels, surface roughness specifications, and delta-ferrite criteria.

✨ A special highlight: the integrated Utility Monitoring Package.
This feature continuously measures and evaluates all operating utilities – heating steam, cooling water, compressed air, and electricity. The result: precise performance data showing exactly how much resource input is required for WFI or pure steam production.

Naturally, the system meets all current pharmaceutical standards, from automation to qualification – ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation.

🔧 Successful FAT Completed – UltiMATE & RingMATE Purified Water Systems for the Pharma Industry 💧

We are excited to announce the successful completion of the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for our advanced UltiMATE Purified Water Generation System and the RingMATE Purified Water Distribution System, tailored for the demanding needs of the pharmaceutical industry.

Two weeks ago, the USF Water Group successfully performed a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for a pharmaceutical Purified Water system. The project includes our USF UltiMATE 500 PW generator, two PW storage tanks (for hot and cold PW), and one skid with two PW distribution equipment (for hot and cold PW).

The equipment has been delivered to the customer site already and was brought into the 3rd floor of the building via cranes. The available space for the crane was limited because the production building is in Vienna.

The commissioning and SAT are scheduled for June and August 2025.

NEW ULTRA-FAST-TRACK PROJECT!

THE USF WATER GROUP HAS BEEN AWARDED A CONTRACT TO MANUFACTURE TWO PW GENERATOR UNITS ALONG WITH A BRINE SATURATOR FOR A MAJOR PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY IN CZECH REPUBLIC.

The project includes two Purified Water units UltiMATE 10000 with a 10 m³/h production rate each. To supply the softener units with liquid brine, a central brine saturator system including a storage and distribution station is also included. The softener comes with single-valve-control and includes the state-of-the-art regeneration monitoring system A.R.T. – Advanced Regeneration Technology to operate the softener in the most economical mode with minimal amounts of brine and rinsing water.
The PW Generator UltiMATE comes with an integrated UV system for dechlorination and disinfection, along with the Zero-Discharge-Mode ZDM. With the ZDM no wastewater is generated during the recirculation, which saves operational costs. Of course, the complete system can be fully automatically hot-water sanitized >80°C by a touch of a button.

Since the complete project has a very time-critical timeline for the client, the delivery is scheduled for September 2025.

The Manufacturing of the Next Ambient-WFI Generator is in Progress...

The USF Water Group is currently manufacturing an ambient-WFI generator with a capacity of 2.5 m³/h. The system UltiMATE 2500 Plus produces via softener, medium-pressure UV for dechlorination, double-pass RO, CEDI and Ultra-Filtration WFI in the highest quality. The complete system can be hot-water sanitized, starting with the pre-treatment already.

The customer FAT is scheduled for July 2023.

THE NEXT AMBIENT WFI SYSTEM FOR THE USF WATER GROUP:

The USF Water Group has been awarded a contract to manufacture an ambient WFI generation system for an Austrian pharmaceutical customer. The project includes the ambient WFI unit UltiMATE 1500 with a production rate of 1.5 m³/h. The softener station BioSOFT MW is executed in lead/leg (worker/polisher) mode and is quality controlled. The softener unit is equipped with the unique hardness monitor SofTEC by USF, which doesn’t need any consumables. The pre-treatment BioSOFT and the UltiMATE system are fully automatic hot-water sanitizable.
Part of the delivery includes also a Pure-Steam-Generator from our partner STERIS Life Sciences

The delivery is scheduled for October 2023.

The final phase of manufacturing a water treatment system for a power plant in Germany. The system USF TechMATE-PURE consists of 2 treatment trains with a capacity of 5 m³/h each. As pre-treatment a USF hyper-filter is installed, to reduce the particle load. Softener, RO, degasser, and CEDI modules are fully redundant to ensure full capacity all the time. For safety reasons, a mixed-bed ion-exchanger is installed as last polisher.

The cabinets will be delivered by BT-Anlagenbau GmbH & Co.KG. The system delivery is scheduled for mid of November.

The USF Water Group has successfully performed a customer FAT of an ambient WFI generation and distribution skid. The system includes the WFI generator UltiMATE 1000 Plus and the distribution unit RingMATE 2C-HWS Plus. The 8 m³ storage tank will be supplied by our partner Hinke Tankbau GmbH .

The entire WFI generator UltiMATE incl. the pre-treatment is hot-water sanitizable by the touch of a button. A UV system realizes the dechlorination. The distribution can be sanitized either by hot water or ozone. Fully automatic sterilization by super-heated water over 121°C is also included in the automation.

The system will be delivered in 2 weeks and commissioned beginning of 2023.
