Johan Eliasch (born February 1962) is a prominent Swedish-British businessman, environmentalist, and sports administrator. Best known as the longtime CEO and chairman of the sporting goods brand HEAD, he has built a reputation through his influential roles in global winter sports and major climate conservation initiatives.

He was the 5th president of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), elected in June 2021 and did not loose his reelection campain this year for one vote.

Singer Bonnie Tyler has emerged from a medically induced coma following emergency surgery last month, according to her family.

Tyler (75), known for hits “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and “Holding out for a hero”, was placed in a coma at a hospital in Faro, Portugal, in May to aid her recovery.

The BBC has announced 550 job cuts in news, nations and TV and radio content as part of its first stage in its plan to save £500m across the corporation over the next two years.
