Inspiring the Next Generation – How young talents are getting involved in the plastics industry 🤔

“We need to be more visible,” agree the guests on Episode 27 of “Wir sind Spritzguss.” The discussion centers on how we can inspire and attract more young people to the plastics industry. Selina Maget, Matthias Joos, and Mert Korkmaz – all three are talented youngsters in our industry who are actively involved with the VDMA’s Young Talents program and Career Friday at Fakuma. There they are sharing their experiences with school and college students, apprentices, and other career starters. 😃👥

They know that a world without plastics is unthinkable. One reason for this is that only plastics make it possible to tailor properties precisely to the intended application while allowing the material to be processed easily and energy-efficiently.

Our customers are growing – and we’re here to support them! 🤝
As part of two customer projects, we optimized their material management by installing a total of three new storage silos, which were seamlessly integrated into existing WITTMANN material handling system.

The resulting additional material storage capacity of 222 m³ ensures greater efficiency and reduces the effort required for manual material preparation. 😀
