Two BOLD events. Two different roles for our team. One very full brain.

This week we joined the Experience and the BOLD UnConference 2025, and it felt like someone pointed a spotlight at why we keep doing what we do.

At the BOLD Experience, our CEO and cofounder Axel brought RealiTree to Palais Auersperg as one of the selected BOLD Minds. Watching visitors talk with an forest inside a historic palace came with its own type of magic. Seeing people connect with through tech gave us the kind of energy you don’t get from caffeine.

At the BOLD UnConference, our CCO and cofounder Gabs joined the AI & Tourism cohort with brilliant minds from the , Majaz AI UAE, , Iceland Tourism Cluster, , and St. James’s Hospital Dublin. They moved through four Austrian regions, working side by side with people who genuinely care about building something meaningful for the country’s future.

Both events pushed us to think bigger and stay honest about the work ahead.
The next wave of progress needs collaboration instead of silos, shared curiosity instead of ego, and teams willing to get their hands dirty. We’re here for that.

Huge thanks to the entire BOLD team for shaping these spaces with so much intention.

Now we go back to the studio with new ideas, new partners, and a lot of notes that need decoding.

November 5, we’ll be part of The BOLD Experience at Palais Auersperg in Vienna.
The BOLD Experience is Austria’s innovation festival created by the , a platform that brings together people and ideas shaping the future of , , and .

We’re bringing RealiTree, our collaboration with Österreichische Bundesforste AG and GeoSphere Austria. For one day, a room in the palace will become a living where visitors can speak with its inhabitants, ask questions, and listen to what nature has to say.

RealiTree combines , , and immersive technology to create a space for reflection and connection. It invites people to pause, to engage, and to imagine new relationships between humans and the ecosystems around us.

After a year of learning, exploring, and collaborating, we’re thrilled to finally share RealiTree with you! 🎉

Commissioned by and in partnership with , RealiTree invites everyone—no matter where you are in Austria—to step into a conversation with Austrian forests.

🌱 Why it matters:
We wanted to show that tech like and doesn’t have to feel distant or overwhelming—it can also be a purposeful, engaging way to learn about the natural world. Using data from GeoSphere Austria, the Bundesforste, and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management, RealiTree shares the voices of forest beings who have so much to teach us as well as the initiatives of the people that help them adapt and thrive amidst environmental changes.

Every detail, from the careful animations to the thoughtful conversations, was crafted by a team that believes technology can bring us closer to what matters.

VR jury duty for Gabs at this year’s festival can’t be a better preparation for International Women’s Day!

Since 2001, TWTR has taken place every year in March, around International Women’s Day. The festival focuses on animated made by women and/or artists, filling a unique position within the international festival landscape.

Besides the competition, the festival shows themed programs and retrospectives to present an exciting overview of the animated cinematic of female artists from around the world, as well as Austrian filmmakers.

Animated Documentaries, works by international film schools and academy students, and cinematographic reflections on complex work and society were established as festival anchors. Exhibitions, workshops, and Best Practice afternoons provide insight into filmmakers’ creative work and offer the opportunity to connect.
