Training the next generation of ropeway experts 🚡

A new chapter begins for 43 young people who have started their apprenticeships with two orientation days at our Headquarter in Wolfurt and in the Silvretta Montafon mountains. Under the motto NO LIMITS, they will help shape the future of ropeway technology and mobility worldwide.

With support from experienced trainers and colleagues, they will gain valuable hands-on experience in professions ranging from traditional technical trades to modern digital careers. We are especially pleased to welcome six young women who have chosen a technical career path this year.

Together, our 137 apprentices are the experts of tomorrow, and we are proud to support them as they build their futures within the Doppelmayr Group.

A new chapter begins in Hallstatt, Austria 🚞⚒️⛰️

From August 29, 2026, the brand-new and beautifully designed Hallstatt funicular will bring visitors to the Hallstatt Salt Mountain.
The project includes much more than just the ropeway itself, creating an enhanced visitor experience that brings more than 7,000 years of salt mining history to life in a contemporary way.

Completed jointly by SALZWELTEN​​ Hallstatt and the Doppelmayr Group, the project combines ropeway technology from Garaventa AG​ with custom-designed cabins manufactured by . The new funicular provides comfortable, barrier-free access to the Salt Mountain and is part of a comprehensive redevelopment of the visitor experience.

🚵 The new Teichlift at Wexl Trails bike park brings a new level of comfort and convenience to downhill bikers.

As the world's first dedicated bike surface lift, the system was designed specifically to transport riders and their bikes. Equipped with the innovative EasyLOOPsystem​, it provides safe and comfortable access to six new trails.

Beyond enhancing the biking experience, the project supports year-round tourism and sustainable regional development in St. Corona, Austria.

🚠 Construction Blog – Reiterkogel TS2 🇦🇹

The next stages of progress are taking shape on the construction site of the new 10-MGD Reiterkogel TS2 in Saalbach-Hinterglemm:

✅ New cabin parking system under construction
✅ Helicopter-assisted installation completed

A particular challenge is the existing underground parking garage in the area of the bottom station. Thanks to the close collaboration of everyone involved, work is continuing according to the schedule. 💪
