Our new low cost hi quality weekender, emergancy or boat system.
This system is a 12 volt 1.2 kWh litium ion battery that can be easly expanded. There are battery type options as well.
The solar panel is a masive 540 watts with mounts that is capable of recharging the battery in 2.5 hours.
We have matched a 1200VA Victron pre pluged inverter so you can use it strait away, it can run a fridge and freezer, lights, TV, computers, chargers and small water pumps
Also in the package is a 50 amp Victron MPPT regulator conected with an Anderson plug.
Everything revolves around the Powertech pre-wired Battery casing that has Bluetooth battery monitoring as extra.

This is my latest plug n play DIY Long Life post anywhere in Australia Stand Alone Power System.
4 x 400 watt panels
2 X 2 panel ground mounts
1 x 20 amp regulator
1 x 2.4 kWh CARBON battery pack
1 x 1600VA Inverter/Charger
1 x battery monitor
1 x 6.0 kVa diesel auto start

How the system works.
This system is designed to be DIY .
You can get your electrician to put it together for you, (extra).

It will run your LED lights, fridge and a pump (350watt max) & chargers & TV computer.

The PnP SPS system has 4 X 12 Volt Long life Carbon batteries.
They make a 2.4 kWh battery pack. We can add more packs as required.

The solar arrays are 800 watt each (0.8KW).
We can add extra arrays as required. The best orientation for each solar array is north east and north west, this adds to charge time for the batteries and lengthening the life span of your battery packs.

The solar Regulator is an MPPT which is maximum power point tracking making it 97% efficient and it is also current limiting so we can protect the batteries. It is sufficient for 2 banks of batteries.

The inverter is an inverter/charger which means it can charge your batteries when the generator is turned on. It also allows the generator to feed power to your unit/cabin at the same time.
The inverter/charger also monitors how much power is being used and can automatically start the generator to help out.
We can also add more inverter/chargers at a later time to increase power up to 4.8 KVA.

The battery monitor is important as it's your fuel gauge, it is also Bluetooth to you phone. It will also start the generator when the batteries get low so you don't ever run out of power.

The generator is a modified 6.0 KVA auto starting diesel unit.
It's cheep but it has all we need and we don't really want it to run all the time as that would mean we need to increase the size of the solar system, it's there for surge power requirements for both current and kWh's.

For an Update on the stoneware 12 volt Toaster, BBQ and Jug just keep watching this post.

I have done the first firing in the kiln for the toaster, it will be another few weeks before it is running.
