With the off road racing season coming to a close, now is the perfect time to give your car, buggy or truck a bit of an update. We're always here for anything you may have in mind. We would like to introduce Calibre Components as a joint venture between Matthew Waye and Matthew Reimers.

We have set Calibre Components up as a design/manufacture interface with a primary focus in Automotive components in the racing sector. The skills we both bring to the business don't limit us to the automotive sector and allow us to be total solution providers for all types of part design and manufacture.

We can take your idea and manage it through the design stage all the way to the final finished components.

About Us:
Matthew Reimers
My interest in design began when I found myself building articles on a regular basis, anything from motorcycle ramps to tractor implements, this gave great satisfaction and the drive to pursue a career in engineering.

I now work professionally as a mechanical designer and have spent approximately 20 years designing special purpose machines, jigs, fixtures and automotive accessories. I have substantial experience with design, analysis, drafting, product compliance and am excited to use this experience, with Matt, to deliver new and creative products for your enjoyment.

Matthew Waye
I have always had a passion for mechanical devices. Having a strong interest in off road racing, I put the skills I learnt over the years to good use and built myself an off road racing spec Toyota Hilux and competed locally with moderate success. Wanting to always go faster, teamed up with Matt R and together designed a full house Trophy Truck. During the build of these trucks, tooling was also needed. Having extensive knowledge in electronics and mechanical systems I have also designed and built multiple CNC machines from the ground up. I would now like to offer the knowledge I have through Calibre Components and the products we develop.
