In 2026, I’ll be taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to help everyone have a home.

Homelessness can happen for many reasons, such as affordable housing pressures, poverty, relationship breakdown, job loss, mental health challenges and circumstances that can change far more quickly than many people realise.

I know how brutal even one night sleeping rough in winter can be.

Years ago, while travelling, poor planning meant I spent one night exposed to the cold. That single night led to pneumonia, two weeks in Emergency and a three-month recovery.

For me, it was one night.

For too many people in Adelaide, it is every night.

Vinnies does important, practical work supporting people experiencing homelessness, and I’m proud to be doing my small part to help.

Together, we can help transform lives.

Over the long weekend, our team enjoyed a well-earned opportunity to slow down, spend time with loved ones and enjoy a change of pace.

Whether it was getting outdoors, exploring Adelaide, catching up with family or simply enjoying time at home, the break offered a chance to reset and make the most of the extra time together.

When comparing builders, it is important to compare apples with apples, not apples with bananas.

At Claridge Construction, our standard inclusions go well beyond what many expect as standard. Handover day at our Blackwood project.

We are incredibly proud to officially hand over this home and see every detail come together so cohesively. Designed to sit naturally within its surroundings, the home balances the calmness of the Adelaide Hills with a modern, refined feel that supports the clients’ fast-paced lifestyle.

Every decision throughout the project was made with intention, creating spaces that feel connected to the environment while still supporting the functionality and flexibility of everyday life for this young family.

One of the most rewarding parts of handover day is seeing the result of so many people coming together behind a shared vision. The relationships we have built over the last 35 years with trusted suppliers and trades play a significant role in every project, helping ensure each home is delivered with the care, quality and collaboration our clients trust us for.

Nice work by on our recently completed Largs Bay project.

Set right on the beachfront, the finish had to be spot on, clean lines, a crisp install, and attention to every detail, all while preserving the stunning coastal views.
