Yesterday, our team had a fantastic day at the Bio·R Corporate Planting Day, spending time outdoors and doing our part to help restore South Australia's native woodlands.

One of the best parts of the day was having our team members' children join in. It was great to see them getting involved, learning about the environment and enjoying the experience together.

At GGE, we believe sustainability is not only about renewable energy. It's also about taking practical steps to care for our environment and helping build a better future for the next generation.

A big thank you to the Bio·R team for organising such a meaningful day. We look forward to supporting more initiatives like this in the future. 🌿💚

💚 💛 Proud to see our Head of Engineering, Alessandro Wei, taking a leading role at the Global Energy Storage Operators Conference, part of the 14th Energy Storage International Conference and Expo (ESIE 2026), organised by the China Energy Storage Alliance.

Alessandro has now presented at this conference three times. This year, he contributed as session host, delivered a presentation on the challenges and opportunities of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) within Australia’s National Electricity Market (NEM), and joined a panel discussion alongside global industry leaders.

This continued involvement highlights both Alessandro’s expertise and Green Gold Energy’s growing presence in the global energy storage sector. As the transition to renewable energy accelerates, opportunities like this allow us to share insights, learn from international peers, and contribute to shaping a more resilient and sustainable energy future.

💚 💛 We officially broke ground on Friday, 20 March, on the Warnertown BESS project (5MW / 10MWh) in Warnertown, South Australia — an exciting milestone for the team Green Gold Energy.

This project marks the construction of our first standalone BESS project, and will be fully delivered by our in-house EPC team, demonstrating our growing end-to-end capability in energy storage.

A big thank you to our partners Sieyuan Electric Co.,Ltd , the landowner, as well as SA Power Networks and the Port Pirie Regional Council for their support in making this project possible.

Construction has already started, we are looking forward to seeing the project in life.

Today, our teams across multiple offices came together for & Day, hosting morning tea fundraising sessions in support of Surf Life Saving Australia ❤️💛

We’re especially proud that some of our staff, or their family members, volunteer with Surf Life Saving Australia, dedicating their time to keep our beaches safe. Their involvement makes our support today even more meaningful.

At Green Gold Energy, we care about the communities we are part of, From wearing red and yellow to making donations, it was great to see our team getting involved for such an important cause. Some staff couldn't attend due to business commitments, but they still made some donations.

Last Friday, our team attended the club’s 'Teddy Bear Toss' match, joining supporters for a special night that goes beyond football. 💚💛 Project Energised | Coleambally 2 Solar + BESS,

We’re pleased to announce the official energisation of Coleambally 2 on 6 February in New South Wales.

The project delivers 4.95 MW of solar generation paired with 11 MWh of battery energy storage, fully EPC-delivered by the Green Gold Energy EPC team.

We sincerely thank Murrumbidgee Council for their ongoing support throughout the construction phase. During the one-month energisation period, we also extend our appreciation to Essential Energy for their hard work, professionalism, and close collaboration, which were critical to the project’s successful energisation.

Coleambally 2 will be integrated with our in-house developed platform, enabling optimised BESS charge and discharge control, real-time asset monitoring, and system-wide operational coordination.
