We’re pleased to welcome Dr Daniel Griffiths to APC Technology.

Solving complex problems is at the heart of what we do at APC Technology, and Daniel brings more than a decade of engineering and technology experience, with a background spanning research, software development, systemsengineering and technical leadership.

Daniel holds a PhD in Computer Vision and a first-class honours degree in Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, with experience across embedded hardware and software, computer vision, signal processing, automation and robotics.

Daniel enjoys bringing different areas of engineering together to solve complex problems and has worked on technology from early concepts and requirements through to prototyping, testing, field trials, and production readiness.

He also enjoys sharing ideas and connecting with industry, whether through conferences, trade shows, product launches, or customer conversations. Daniel is also part of the 2026 Governor’s Leaders Institute of South Australia Foundation cohort.

Heading to Land Forces International Land Defence Exposition 2026 ?

APC Technology will be at , 6–8 October, with our Strategic Growth Lead – Defence & Space, Andrew Perry, representing our team.

Andrew will be meeting with Defence, primes and industry partners to talk about the operational and technology challenges they’re facing – and where Australian engineering capability can help solve them.

At APC Technology, we work with customers to take complex requirements and turn them into practical, engineered solutions for demanding defence environments and give confidence in knowing they will not fail.

That could mean:
- Rugged GVA displays and computing solutions
- Quality of Life solutions for personnel operating in deployed and
remote environments
- Remote and resilient power systems
- Secure Communication solutions
- Custom engineering, integration and product development
- Environmental testing, manufacturing and lifecycle support

With engineering, integration, manufacturing and testing capability under one roof in Adelaide, our focus is on understanding the requirement first – then determining the right solution.

Celebrating 16 years with APC Technology.

Neil Whitburn's journey at APC Technology is a great example of where curiosity, hard work and a willingness to embrace new opportunities can lead.

Starting on our manufacturing floor as an assembler, Neil has grown his career across CAD design, innovation, process improvement and now operations, helping introduce new technologies and improve the way we work along the way.

One of his proudest achievements was helping establish our rapid prototyping capability, enabling customer ideas to become physical prototypes in a matter of hours and accelerating product development through innovation.

When asked what has kept him at APC for 16 years, Neil's answer was simple:
"The opportunity to continually grow and take on new challenges."

His advice for anyone starting at APC?
Keep learning, ask questions and never be afraid to put your hand up for new opportunities.

We're looking for an Electronics Manufacturing Assembler who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoys hands-on technical work. You'll be assembling, testing and inspecting products that are built to withstand extreme environments, while working alongside experienced engineers and manufacturing specialists in a collaborative, Australian-made manufacturing environment.

This week, our team came together for a Men's Health Week morning tea, creating an opportunity to connect, start conversations, and raise awareness about the importance of health and wellbeing.

Men's Health Week (15–21 June 2026) is a global initiative focused on improving health outcomes for men and boys by encouraging awareness, early intervention, and positive action. While the spotlight is on men's health, the message is one that benefits everyone—our wellbeing impacts not only ourselves, but also our families, colleagues, and communities.
This year's awareness campaign, Know Your Man Facts, highlights the importance of:

✔️ Regular health checks and early detection
✔️ Taking proactive steps to manage physical and mental wellbeing
✔️ Looking out for one another through a "mate helping mate" approach
✔️ Encouraging open conversations and reducing barriers to seeking support

At APC Technology, we believe creating a workplace where people feel comfortable discussing health and wellbeing is an important part of building a safe, inclusive and supportive culture.

Behind every product that ships on time is a supply chain and project delivery team that doesn't get enough credit.

At APC Technology, our Supply Chain Manager Mal Lowen and Team manage a complex web of components, lead times, and supplier relationships - high-spec builds where off-the-shelf parts don't exist.

Operations Manager, John Battle and Project Planner David Shaw coordinate the workflow from order through to delivery, making sure engineering, manufacturing, and testing are aligned at every stage.

Warehouse Team Leader Quentin Green and his team handle receiving, and dispatch, the final step before products reach our customers.

What ties it all together is proximity. Supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and dispatch all operate from the same facility in Adelaide. When priorities shift or timelines tighten, the conversation happens face-to-face, not through a ticketing system.

It's not glamorous, but it's why things work.

A product is only as good as the conditions it's been proven to handle.

At APC Technology, our environmental test and validation capability is a critical part of the product lifecycle. Before anything leaves our facility, it goes through the relevant rigorous testing.

Our Test and Compliance Lead Steven Port, a member of our Engineering Team at hashtag run's the chamber and testing lab ensuring every unit meets the relevant military and industrial standards.

We also offer environmental testing as a standalone service for external clients. If you need to validate a product against MIL-STD, IP-rated, or custom environmental specs, our lab is equipped and experienced and provide consultation along with the generation of test methodologies, plans and reports.

Because, "it should work" isn't good enough!
