Safety comes with a good taste at CPE...
The team were treated to a BBQ breakfast this morning at our Wingfield Depot as we got together to discuss all things safety in the crushing industry, The team covered vital topics including fatigue management, tool care, risks on site and taking regular breaks to ensure we stay at peak performance as well as look after ourselves.
We were joined by Dan Hadley from Excelsior Management Consultancy (EMC) Adelaide who spoke about key industry updates and compliance requirements for these safety issues, emphasising day planning to ensure breaks are taken. CPE is firmly committed to the safety of all of it's team members and the workers at our client sites. With BBQ egg and sausage rolls going down nicely, the team were charged up for another big day in the crushing industiry but with a mindset firmly focussed on safety first.

Crushing Correspondence: CPE's new internal newsletter focussed on all things Quality, Safety and Best Practice.

We've recently launched an internal newsletter for all staff to keep them informed and help with training. At Crushing Plant and Equipment we take updated knowledge, communication and consultation with our workers very seriously. Although we cant share our internal newsletters here on Facebook we can tell you that its aimed at covering important safety topics, internal processes to help us be the best we can be and improvements to ensure we give the best to our clients.

The first edition came out in March and the 2nd edition is due to roll out any day now. So far we have covered topics like grinder safety, the use of our DoneSafe WHS app and the importance of vehicle inspections so we always stay on the road to keep our clients going.
