The 2026–27 Federal Budget has proposed new annual registration fees for all VH-registered aircraft, in addition to the existing aviation fuel levy.

AOPA member Benjamin Morgan has launched a petition opposing the changes, which many within the industry believe effectively create double taxation for general aviation and will place further pressure on aircraft owners, aero clubs, flying schools, and aviation businesses.

Albury & District Aero Club encourages everyone to sign and share the petition.
