This beautiful chopping board is ready to go as is, or there’s still room for a little customisation to make it extra special. 🤍

Perfect as a gift or something lovely for your own home.

Love how this one turned out! 💙

We managed to get a really nice two-tone effect on this Countrywide Sheds sign, and I’m so happy with the finished result.

It’s always fun trying something a little different and seeing the design come to life.

Custom business signs like this can be made to suit your own logo, colours and style. ✨

Roller Door Size Matters 📏

It’s easy to focus on the overall size of your shed, but the roller door opening can make a huge difference to how practical the shed is day to day.

Before locking in your door size, think about what actually needs to fit through it, vehicles, machinery, caravans, trailers or equipment and allow a bit of extra clearance to make access easier.

It’s also worth thinking ahead. What suits you now might be a little tight if you upgrade to a bigger vehicle or piece of machinery later on.

The door size also needs to work with the overall shed design, so bigger isn’t always as simple as just choosing a larger roller door.

Not sure what size you need?

We can help work through the options and design the shed around what you’ll actually be using it for.

The weather hasn’t exactly been on our side for getting the roof and walls sheeted lately… but we still get it done!

A few challenging days on site, but nothing like the view from up here to make it all worth it.

Another Countrywide shed taking shape, with the roof and walls coming together nicely.

A few progress shots from one of our current shed builds.

From the steel frame going up to the wall cladding starting to transform the structure, it’s great to see this one taking shape.

There’s still a bit to go, but it’s already looking impressive against that rural backdrop!

We’ll share some more photos once it’s all finished.

Gable or skillion roof - which one is right for your shed? 👇

Both can be great options, but the best choice really comes down to what you’re using the shed for, the size of the shed and the space you’re working with.

A gable roof gives you that traditional shed look and plenty of height through the centre, making it a popular choice for larger sheds, machinery storage and workshops.

A skillion roof offers a simple, modern look and can work really well for smaller sheds, workshops or sheds adjoining an existing building.

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer, the important part is designing the shed around what you actually need it to do.

If you’re not sure which option would suit your shed, have a chat with us and we can help you work through it.

Every farm works differently and your shed should too.

Whether you need machinery storage, hay storage, a workshop, a large open-span shed or something designed around the way your property operates, the right shed starts with understanding what you actually need.

Things like access, layout, height, openings and future use can all make a big difference to the final design.

At Countrywide Sheds, we can work with you to design a shed that suits your property, your operation and the Australian conditions it will be built in.

What does wind rating actually mean? 👇

When we quote a shed, one of the first things we need is the site address — and there’s a good reason for it.

Your shed’s wind rating determines the wind loads the structure needs to be designed to withstand.

It can be affected by things like:

• Where the shed is being built
• The surrounding terrain and exposure
• Whether the site is protected or more open
• The wind region for the area

That’s why two sheds that look exactly the same can sometimes require different engineering and materials depending on where they’re going.

Getting the wind rating right from the start means your shed is designed to suit the conditions at your property — not just picked from a standard plan.

Thinking about getting a shed quote?

You don’t need to have every detail worked out before you get in touch, but having a rough idea of a few key things can help us put together a quote that better suits what you actually need.

Things worth thinking about include:

• Approximate shed size
• Height and clearance requirements
• What you’ll be using the shed for
• Roller doors, windows and other openings
• The site location
• Access and anything you may want to allow for in the future

The more we know about how you plan to use the shed, the better we can design it around your needs.

And if you’re not sure on some of the details yet, that’s completely fine, tell us what you’re hoping to achieve and we can help work through the rest.
